Instutution:The game was designed by 2k sports.Its going to be avable on Xbox 360,PS3,Xbox 1,PS4 and PC.The game  first came out for PS2 and Xbox in 2002.NBA 2K13 had a special devloper(jay-z).Over the years the presentation and gameplay have improved and so have the graphics,but this is expected.

Audience:The game seems to be target for sports fans but to be specific it target for basketball fans.I think that the game is more one the male side but this is expected as this is Nba male ligue not female ligue.I think that the producers didn't aim for a specific gender even doe somethings might suggest that.The age group can be 3+ because a young or old person can enjoy basketball and playing the game.

Rpresatation:The race is mixed but if you simpley look at the cover you would think that the game is more for black people aspecialy that its a basketball.However basketballs white,asion population is rising.Concidering this is a game, any race can play it.The game is mostly know and sold in USA as Nba is played there but the games sales also increased in the UK.The game cover has Lebron James the best play in Nba and in the world.Its usual that a male will be in the front cover in a game.However the front cover cant have a women as theres no women in the Nba.

I went with the fruity style.The colours complement each other.I decided to give the fruits different shades.E.g.the apple is dark red and some parts of it are lighter red.I decide to use the fruity style as I thought that is will look fabulous and out standing(and it did).The yellow makes the picture come to life and in a way gives it happiness.The red stand out from the other colours as its the darkest  

NBA 2K13 is a sports (basketball) game. It was developed by Visual concepts and Jay Z and published by 2k sports. It was released on October 2^nd 2012 in America. October 5^th  2012 in EUROPE. The game can be played on these platforms: Xbox 360, PS3, wii, WiiU, PS portable, ios android and Microsoft windows(including nba2k mini games and apps). The release price was form £30 to £40, however now you can get the game for just £20 because in October 1^st 2013 NBA 2K14 is getting released. The game can be played online and offline. Online you can play: Black top, quick match, team match up and My Team. The game was rated 9.1/10(IGN).

The game was promoted by one of the most know rap faces jay z .Blake griffin, a basketball superstar promoted the game as well. You could download a NBA 2K13 APP on your android. I think that NBA 2K13 was promoted really well. This is because Jay z one of the most know human being has been promoting the game. Nba sold around 6 million copies. However I don’t think that the game had any TV adverts witch will really help boost the popularity.The game is rated 3+ just like most sports games.You can fallow the owner of nba 2k13 on twitter (ronnie 2k).The game released trailers on their YouTube channel.This allowed a lot of gamers to watch the game and see if they are interested in getting it. NBA 2k in UK was promoted less than in USA as most buyers are from USA .

I believe that NBA 2K13  was not promoted in UK.

The target audience is mostly for people that  like playing basketball.This games allows you to be a NBA star and do what you cant do in real life.However the game also waned to reach out to non basketball fans and beginners.I think this because, the game wants to step to the next level and compete with other more popular games.Nba 2k13 had no basketball competition as it was the only basketball game out in the market.
The latest competition was NBA live 10, however the game go out shined by NBA 2k10.In 2012 and 13 NBA 2k had no competition.Now NBA 2k14 is going to compete with NBA live 14.I believe that 2k is going to get more sales then live.This is because  2k has more fans.
I think that the game was very successful as it sold 49% more in the first week the 2k12.Also over all it sold more copies then any other basketball game ever.
